Freeport plc developed and opened what was then Europe’s largest outlet in 2005 providing some 50,000m2 of commercial space.
Following its opening the centre was intensively managed by Freeport both in terms of brand mix and marketing and in 2011 growing tenant demand and year on year performance increases enabled an extension to the centre and subsequently the opening of one of the largest conference centres in Lisbon to further boost its customer appeal.
In 2014 the centre was sold to an investor and that fund and it advisors are now responsible for the centre’s management.

It is 40 minutes from Copenhagen, and has 14,000 m2 of GLA featuring leading international and Danish brands such as Nike, Guess, Desigual, Hugo Boss, Peak Performance and Gant.
Managed by Freeport Retail since 2011, footfall and sales have more than doubled over this period. The centre enjoys a growing reputation amongst the brands, Hugo Boss has recently opened a major extension and many new brands are on their way.
In a great location in the Isere valley, located in the second wealthiest region in France, 30 minutes from Lyon and adjacent to the main Autoroute de la Maurienne which links Lyon to Chambery and Geneva via the A43 and to Grenoble by the A48. The region is already popular with tourists and lies on the main route from Pris to the ski resorts.

Freeport is developing the village in partnership with Compagnie de Phalsbourg, one of France’s leading and most innovative out of town retail developers.

The opening of the village is scheduled for 4 April 2018, construction has now started.
Freeport A’Famosa Outlet is the first of a number of projects that Freeport is planning in south east Asia. Located on the north-south highway between Kuala Lumpur and Melaka next to the 520 hectare A’famosa Resort (www.afamosa.com) which has over 2 million visitors a year. It brings a modern designer outlet to the residents of Kuala Lumpur and the holiday makers of Melaka.
The 175,000 sq ft first phase opened in November 2015 and has been an instant hit with over The outlet has received nearly 3 million visitors in its first year of trading and is showing year on year growth of 20%. Plans for an extension are well advanced.
The project is being undertaken in partnership with Langkah Realiti, owner and operator of A’famosa Resort and a highly experienced Real estate developer and investor.
Acienda Designer Outlet will be the first pure outlet village in The Philippines. Located 45km south of Manila and close to Tagaytay the 21,000m2 scheme will provide some 90 retail brands and beautiful food and beverage quarter.
The centre will offer over 1,600 car spaces and is themed on a selection of European architectural styles.
Construction started in late 2016 and the centre is scheduled to open in October 2018. Freeport has partnered with Cathay Land. A well respected and active developer based in Manila. As with the Freeport A’famosa Outlet in Malaysia, Freeport will be the long term manager of the outlet.
2018 SeptemberFreeport Retail is delighted to announce that 70% of the stores have been leased for the soft opening on 26th October. Many stores are now in fitout for the Philippines’ first designer outlet. With an eventual line up of over 120 stores it promises to be a major new feature in the retail landscape of the Philippines. As can be seen from the attached photos both the centre and the store fitouts are of the highest quality.

Freeport International Outlet was developed and opened by Freeport plc in 2003. Located in the south of Czech Republic at its border with Austria and approximately 50 minutes to the north of Vienna
The centre offers 23,000m2 of retail and F&B space. In 2014 the centre was sold to an investor which subsequently took over the centre management.
Freeport Kungsbacka was developed by Freeport plc and opened in 2001.
It is located 30km south of Gothenburg on the west coast of Sweden. The centre provides some 16,700m2 of retail and F&B space
