The sub-continent of India remains very undeveloped in terms of Outlet Villages.
Freeport has signed a licence agreement with a developer in India to create outlets under the Freeport brand.
The licensee is working with the developer of the large mixed use Orion 132 project in Noida to deliver a modern high-quality outlet as part of the overall masterplan.
The licensee is responsible for this development and is undertaking all leasing, marketing, finance and development activity.
Delivery of the project is anticipated in Spring 2024.
