Freeport Outlet

Freeport plc developed and opened what was then Europe’s largest outlet in 2005 providing some 50,000m2 of commercial space.
Following its opening the centre was intensively managed by Freeport both in terms of brand mix and marketing and in 2011 growing tenant demand and year on year performance increases enabled an extension to the centre and subsequently the opening of one of the largest conference centres in Lisbon to further boost its customer appeal, despite the problems in the Portuguese economy
In 2014 the centre was sold to VIA and it is now responsible for the centre’s management.
