Re-focussing the business and achieving major year on year increases in footfall, sales and occupancy. The process has involved a significant refurbishment and landscaping programme combined with a repositioning and releasing of part of the centre. At the beginning of 2011 an extension to create two new tradable areas was submitted for planning approval.

Freeport Alcochete is the largest outlet centre in Europe with 75,000m² of space. It includes over 140 shops, 20 restaurants and bars, a 7 screen cinema and a major exhibition space. It is located in Alcochete a short distance from the centre of Lisbon, near the Vasco da Gama bridge on the south side of the river Tejo
